Program managers: We know a good one when we see one and the difference is almost always in the intangibles. The administrated reports, timelines and budgets are the easy part. It's also the only thing that people "see" from program managers. So, the program manager’s value can be underestimated. It's managing the space between functional group tasks that gets the job done, gets the program delivered and gets the parts on the floor.
